Bob Siemens is a Karen Pryor Academy Certified Training Partner and an Accredited Dog Trainer through the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants. He is the Vice President of the Alberta Force Free Alliance. He offers professional dog training and behaviour modification services in Airdrie, Calgary, and surrounding areas in Alberta. He is committed towards providing the most up-to-date, humane, and ethical animal training possible. As part of Unity Training and Behaviour services, he strives to provide services that are based on kindness, compassion, and understanding. He endeavors to establish a symbiotic relationship between the dogs and their owners while being transparent with training methods.
From his earliest memories, Bob has been in love with animals of all kinds. When he moved to Alberta in 2014, he had to leave a senior dog at home in Ontario. Having spent some time away from his dog, he felt the hole in his life and welcomed a new member to his family. He did not know that his passion and affection towards this dog would be his one-way ticket to a career in dog training. Adopting a reactive dog helped him take the leap of faith to become a certified professional trainer and behaviour coach.
Being a certified professional, Bob has to update his knowledge and skills through continuing education continuously. Each of his certifications mandates the attendance of webinars, seminars, and classes to earn Continuing Education Units (CEUs). These CEUs ensure that Bob is knowledgeable and adaptable to the latest science-based understandings in the world of animal training.
